Willow grew up in the Seattle area, and moved to Vermont in 2019. On her first day in Burlington, Willow visited the Peace & Justice Center to sign up as a volunteer. She spent most of her career in “the corporate world” at a Fortune 20 company, where she witnessed widespread unmitigated racism, sexism, and LGBTQ discrimination. Her experiences moved her to pursue a more proactive role in addressing the struggles many people face today. Fascism begins in the workplace, and evil triumphs when good people do nothing. Don’t do nothing. Willow is excited to be in Vermont with her four cats, and proud to be part of the Peace & Justice Center team.
