Join members of the Peace & Justice Center staff at the Center (60 Lake Street) for tea, dessert and conversation about effective approaches to recruiting for peace. This training explores strategies for encouraging young people to engage in peace work in general and/or within their chosen field of study or occupation. The conversation will also include how to have speak with high school students to help them think critically about enlisting in the military. Most of this is really about listening and asking questions of the student about why this is important and how they have prepared and are preparing for the risks involved with this decision.
