“The Peace & Justice Center opposed the War in Afghanistan in 2001 and continues to oppose the war today,” PJC Executive Director Nancy Lynch told the Times Argus last week. “The President’s escalation of this war is fundamentally wrong and puts more American and Afghan lives at risk.  During the worst recession since the Great Depression the government should be using our tax dollars to help support its citizen’s basic needs rather than investing in an endless war.”

We at the PJC wanted to make sure that you knew about some important actions that you can take in opposition of the escalation of the War in Afghanistan.  Some are small, some are big, some local, some a bus ride away – but all very important.

Please join us is raising our voices and building a movement to oppose this escalation.
