
Sound (she/they) is of the diaspora by way of the Philippines and immigrated to the United States as a child. She actively researches colonization and antiwar work in community with others. Sound works creatively, currently as a plant and paper mache lantern artist and recording sound artist. They are also experimenting with off-grid living, exploring ways to be closer to nature and following her interests in herbs, technology, art, and community. Most recently, she participated at Bread and Puppet as an apprentice and volunteer, participating as a musician during the circus and actor/participant at the Dirt Floor Cathedral for 2024’s last performance of the Gaza Gray Lady Cantata.
