Co-Director

Hi all!

I’m grateful to be in this position and put my skills, knowledge, & passions to use in service through the PJC. I’m landing here after decades working on grassroots projects in the realms of ecological, climate, and social justice.

I work to support self-determination for all, especially our queer & trans community and/or peoples of the global majority. Key to this is supporting Indigenous rights & leadership from here to Palestine and beyond. I’m curious about history & geopolitics, especially intrigued by the many examples of resistance to oppression.

Something important to me is holding & navigating interacting, seemingly opposing qualities including autonomy & collaboration, resistance & creation, being a student & a teacher, magic & science, and how to be in right relationship to land as beneficiary of settler colonialism.

It’s quite a time to begin my role at the PJC. Our society’s gone from a period of unmasking to an attempt to push outright fascism as desperate last grasp of late-stage capitalism. The good news is that those forcing this agenda are a small, power-hungry minority, but the majority of us want to live in a world centered around care. That & the beauty of nature around us is what drives me through this painful time, and what brings me to my work here. Thank you for having me!
