Hello! My name is Kason Hudman, and I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the Peace & Justice Center staff as the Assistant Store Manager. Prior to joining the staff, I was a regular volunteer in the store for the past three years, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to deepen my involvement with this fantastic organization.
Born and raised in Utah, I came to Vermont in 2017 to study US History at the University of Vermont, where I earned my master’s degree in 2019. Throughout my college years, both in Utah and in Vermont, I was heavily involved in LGBT+ activism, racial justice work, and interfaith activism, and I knew that I needed to get involved with the Peace & Justice Center as soon as I was able to do so when I arrived in Burlington. Volunteering for this organization has taught me so much, and I am so excited to share that experience with new volunteers and customers as I take on the role of Store Manager.
In my free time, you can find me playing guitar, reading, hanging out with my friends, or wandering the shores of Lake Champlain looking to catch a glimpse of the elusive Champ.
