Upcoming PJC Events

The following events are hosted, organized, co-sponsored, or in collaboration with/by the Peace & Justice Center and are open to the public – we hope you can join us!

We charge a fee for many of our publicly hosted programs. No individual is turned away from any of our our programs due to a lack of funds. People under 25 are not expected to contribute financially. We ask those who are able to pay full price or more for our programs to do. This helps keep our programs financially accessible to all, regardless of income. Not sure if you should pay less, more, or nothing? View our Sliding Scale document to find an amount that feels appropriate to you.

Rapid Response Training

September 24, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EDT

As Trump’s threats against immigrant communities escalate and widespread outrage across the county grows, now is the time to join in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors! Farmworkers in Vermont continue to organize and fight for human rights despite the threat of immigration arrests and check points. Please join us for a Rapid Response Training to learn about how community members can show up in support of immigrants and the farmworker community in times of crisis. We’ll be going over how to recognize immigration enforcement around the state, resistance to checkpoints and how to support farmworker leadership in #Not1More Deportation campaigns. This location is wheelchair accessible.
