PJC is excited to team up with FreeHerVT to lead Prison Letter Writing at this event:

Join us on May 10th, 1-4 PM at Oakledge Park to connect, learn, share, and act in a space that will be intentionally crafted to be as welcoming as it is empowering. During our community-centered afternoon, we’ll interrogate the roots of state violence, imperialism, and repression—from police, prisons, and ICE to the military.

Expect an afternoon of letter-writing to detained and incarcerated community members, art-making, skill-building, and a radical reimagining of how we organize and resist. We hope to explore relationship-based actions that empower us all to escalate against the empire in diverse and beautiful ways.

In committing to protecting the most vulnerable among us, we ask that you kindly mask during the event except for when eating and drinking. We will also have masks available, chairs, blankets, water, and snacks to make this event more welcoming. Please swipe to the next slide to see our full list of accessibility information. We encourage you to reach out or leave a comment on this post if there are additional supports you need in place to attend. We take care of us!

Join us to build connection, collective knowledge and plant seeds for future action. Let’s learn together, resist together, and create together.
