The Peace & Justice Center is planning its first annual Social Justice Symposium! The week-long event (September 30th – October 7th) will call on organizers and activistsf rom across the state to come together and envision collective liberation across various social justice issues.

The Price of Safety
Our first event will be a film screening of The Price of Safety and a Q&A session with the filmmakers and local leaders. It is directed by Chris Spencer and Produced by Chris Spencer and Erin Wolcott.
The film explores national conversations of over-policing and racial bias as they unfold in the quaint community of Vergennes, VT.

Seeing and Disrupting Racism Workshop
Join the PJC on October 6th for our very own Seeing and Disrupting Racism Workshop at the Soda Plant! It is a 101-level two hour workshop open to the public. It defines racism and gives participants insight into the many ways racism manifests from an individual to a systemic level. All are welcome!
