The following events are hosted, organized, co-sponsored, or in collaboration with/by the Peace & Justice Center and are open to the public – we hope you can join us!

We charge a fee for many of our publicly hosted programs. No individual is turned away from any of our our programs due to a lack of funds. People under 25 are not expected to contribute financially. We ask those who are able to pay full price or more for our programs to do. This helps keep our programs financially accessible to all, regardless of income. Fair Trade 101

The aim of this presentation is to give some background on the history of global trade and how trade has historically come at the expense of marginalizing people in the Global South. We will examine the Fair Trade Movement is an alternative trading system that ensures small producers Global South are given access to the global market, but also provided with basic human rights. Free for all and there is not registration needed. People are encouraged to arrive at 1:30pm to participate in a PJC New Volunteer Orientation.
