Event Series Event Series: ACLU for Youth Event in Waitsfield

Harwood ACLU club in collaboration with Joslin Memorial Library present a free three-day youth workshop (8/12, 8/13, 8/14) facilitated by local high school students and teachers as well as ACLU VT staff, lawyers, and policy advocates. Each day will center on one of three key issues the ACLU works on: Immigrant Rights, Trans Rights, and Housing Rights and culminate in a mock trial based on a real ACLU case that will be held at Joslin Library and open to the wider public. Open to middle and high schoolers (rising 7th-12th graders). Free to attend! Refreshments and materials provided. This program is supported in part by Vermont Humanities and the Mad River Valley Rotary Club
