Chris Hedges: Death of Empire

chris-hedges-pic_cropped_1263321634_200Join us on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:00pm at Ira Allen Chapel for a special presentation by Chris Hedges, as part of the Cost of War Speaker and Film Series.  Award winning foreign correspondent for nearly two decades in Central America, the Middle East, Africa and the Balkans, Chris Hedges has reported from more than 50 countries and has worked for many publications, including The New York Times, for which he was a foreign correspondent for 15 years. Amongst other achievements, Hedges is also a successful author, and recently published Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt, as well as many other books including War is a Force that Gives Us Meaning, and Death of the Liberal Class.
