My name is Aidan Mulderrig, and I am a junior at Saint Michael’s College. While studying at Saint Michael’s College, my academics have been my first priority. I intend to graduate with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in both Political Science and English. Additionally, I am also a member of the Saint Michael’s College’s Honors Program, as well as the Varsity Swim and Dive Team.
This spring semester I will be working with the Peace & Justice Center as a Programming Intern. I am excited to have a positive impact on the Burlington community, while simultaneously educating the mass population of important political and social issues. Many of these issues, including fair trade, racial justice, promoting peace, etc., are topics of discussion in my political science course. Now I have an opportunity to advocate for the people of Burlington, and the social justice community as a whole.
Furthermore, I am excited to attend gatherings and conferences with other peace activists. I am most looking forward to writing for the quarterly news letter, and having my own work published for the community to see.
I would like to thank the Peace & Justice Center for giving me this opportunity to learn and develop real world experience within the fields of activism and peace promotion.
