As many are aware by now, GOP front-runner Donald Trump will be visiting Burlington for an event at the Flynn Theater on Thursday evening. While the PJC does not endorse or oppose candidates we do support activists engaged in positive change, particularly around promoting anti-oppression work. Therefore, we are helping to get the word out about the following independently organized events. Click through for further information regarding the variety and nature of the events being planned.

Top of Church Street in Burlington. Bring signs and your voice to march down Church St. This event is targeted towards mass mobilization; everyone is welcome. Event Schedule: 4:15- Meet at top of Church St, 4:30- March down Church Street to the Flynn Theater, 6pm- Rally and protest at Flynn Theater.

An MLK-inspired candle-light/lantern vigil promoting peace, unity, and love of our fellow persons to Presidential Candidate Donald Trump, who takes the stage at the Flynn Center at 7 for a rally promoting his platform of discrimination and division. Line the sidewalks of Williston Road from the airport to Main Street across the UVM campus down to the entrance of the Flynn?
