Hello everyone! My name is McKenzie Imhoff, I am a Sophomore at the University of Vermont, and I am one of the Racial Justice Interns this fall. I am currently studying Sociology with a concentration in Crime and Criminal Justice as well as a minor in Spanish so I am extremely excited to expand my knowledge about social and racial justice issues beyond my classes through this internship. Outside of classes and my passion for social justice, I am also very passionate about the outdoors. I love to climb, hike, trail run, camp, kayak, etc. This past summer I worked for the Appalachian Mountain Club, leading teens in Trail Work. I also am very passionate about service and volunteer often with Vermont Adaptive Sports, teaching people with disabilities how to ski. I also love to write and read–especially nonfiction so let me know if you’re ever in need of some suggestions! I look forward to getting to know all of you and working with the Peace & Justice Center this semester!
