Do you want to be able to identify racism as it manifests in yourself and your community? Are you looking to build a tool kit of skills for taking on this racism? If the answer to either (or both) of those questions is yes, then please join us for Building Empathy & Addressing Racial Oppression.
Since 2015 we’ve been running, and constantly updating and improving, this program to help equip people to address and disrupt racism by discussing, among other things, topics like White Fragility and White Supremacy Culture.
We’ll be bringing this three-part program to the Grand Isle School Library on January 11, 18, and 25 from 6:45-8:45pm. Hal Colston and Lauren Layn will be facilitating. Space is limited and there is a fee of $75 for general public and $60 for PJC members. It is free for people under 25 and no one will be turned away for a lack of funds.

See you there!
